  • Identity Data: Name and USPTO Registration Number.
  • Contact Data: Email address.
  • Financial Data: Payment information is handled securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.
  • Patent Prosecution Data: Application numbers, filing dates, inventorship, attorney docket numbers, USPTO examiner names, art units, and citation references (prior art) provided by you for IDS generation.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

We use the collected data to:

  • Provide the Service: Authenticate your account and generate Information Disclosure Statements (IDS).
  • Billing: Process payments and manage subscriptions/credits via Stripe.
  • Security & Optimization: Prevent fraud and enhance performance via our infrastructure partners.
  • Deduplication & History: Maintain a permanent record of filed references and docket numbers to help you identify previously cited art and avoid redundant filings.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES & INFRASTRUCTURE

To provide our services, we interact with the following third-party systems:

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Our Service is hosted within the Google Cloud ecosystem using enterprise-grade storage and hosting solutions.
  • Edge Services: Portions of our web presence are served via Cloudflare to enhance security and performance.
  • Data Retrieval APIs: We query third-party APIs (including EPO OPS, USPTO ODP, and Crossref) to fetch patent metadata.
  • Payment Processing: Stripe, Inc.

5. COOKIES AND TRACKING

We and our third-party partners (such as Cloudflare and Google) may use cookies or similar technologies to ensure the security of our site, manage user sessions, and analyze traffic. You can control cookie settings through your browser.

6. DATA RETENTION

  • Prosecution Records: We retain records of application numbers, docket numbers, and provided references indefinitely to provide the deduplication and filing history features of the Service.
  • Account Data: Personal identity data is retained as long as your account is active or as needed for tax and legal compliance.

7. SECURITY

We utilize the security protocols provided by our enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure, including encryption at rest and in transit. While we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. YOUR RIGHTS & VIRGINIA DISCLOSURES
